Afriex Magazine, a premier publication for Africa’s export industry, proudly held its launch event on October 31st in Lagos, drawing key figures from the export, trade, and business sectors. This landmark event celebrated Afriex Magazine’s mission to support and empower African exporters, featuring the unveiling of both the magazine and its new website, as well as the introduction of an innovative YouTube show, “The Exportaz Journey.”

The magazine was officially unveiled by distinguished guests, including Chief Dennis Okafor, Chairman and CEO of Denca Services Limited; Dr. John Isemede, former Director-General of the National Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA); and Mr. Chris Ifeorah of Wigmore Trading. These industry leaders shared their insights on the significance of Afriex Magazine as a resource for the African export sector, highlighting its potential to strengthen trade ties and promote Africa’s global market presence.

The event also featured the launch of Afriex Magazine’s new, mobile-friendly website, which supports multiple languages, including French, Spanish, and Igbo. The website offers specialized categories such as Ghana Export Digest, Ivory Coast Export Digest, Kenya Export Digest, and Rwanda Export Digest, providing in-depth, region-specific insights for exporters.
An additional highlight was the announcement of Afriex Magazine’s YouTube show, “The Exportaz Journey,” hosted by Dr. Queen Okpa, CEO of Afriex Magazine. The show will feature inspiring stories and practical advice from successful African exporters, aiming to educate, motivate, and guide emerging exporters as they navigate the complexities of international trade.
Dr. Queen Okpa expressed her vision for Afriex Magazine’s impact on Africa’s export sector. “Our mission with Afriex Magazine is to empower African exporters with knowledge, insights, and connections to excel globally,” she shared. “Through our new website, magazine, and ‘The Exportaz Journey’ YouTube show, we hope to create a platform that elevates African trade, celebrates export success stories, and addresses the unique challenges faced by African businesses.”
The event concluded with networking opportunities, where attendees connected with industry leaders, shared insights, and discussed collaborative efforts to advance Africa’s export growth.
